ACA at a Glance
At ACA, we assist families in building a strong academic foundation for their students, offering
- Hands-on science, following a science cycle (life, earth, physical)
- Literature-based history, with novels that integrate with historical periods
- Engaging in-person classes and vibrant community
- Qualified tutors with classroom experience and content expertise
- Strong preparation for high school, whether that be homeschool, private, or public
Middle School Classes
STEM Class (T/Th 2 ½ hours of instruction)
Math (6th) PreAlgebra (7th) or Algebra (8th)
Elemental Science (Biology, Chemistry or Earth Science for the Logic Stage)
*8th grade students may take Pre-Algebra if needed

History Odyssey (T/Th 2 ½ hours of instruction)
Middle Ages (6th) Early Modern (7th) and Modern history (8th)
Novel studies with writing opportunities that align with history units and CA standards

** Google Classroom is used to assign work on non-meeting days, record grades, and communicate with students and parents. Tutors will assign and grade all work.
** Classes run Labor Day – Memorial Day

14 – 15 students $285 / month
10 – 13 students $290 / month
7 – 9 students $305 / month
